Tommy Bahama model is real

This is not the first mention of the new Tommy Bahama model trailer, but it does point to the first public acknowledgement of the new joint marketing effort.

To be clear that post refers to the AS being a 2008 Safari in the photo.

I got an email yesterday with a link to a preview of the Tommy Bahama Airstream - it looks real for sure. And it looks like it would live up to the relaxing part too!

I like it, dig the Island style, but I like the EB better. With the EB you could easily get the sofas/lounges out of the way, whether to transport gear or to replace with recliners, etc. The TB lounges look very built in. But maybe this offering will bring down the used prices on the used EBs.

Never liked the seats in the EB. Will take a look at this one when it shows up at our dealer, though we're not sure we will like the very busy-looking prints. In the photos, it looks a bit like a refugee from the 70's. Hope to be proven wrong.

I am a BIG fan of all things Tommy Bahama, I like the look and the hatchback is a great choice for it.

I have to slap myself and cry over this one and the new 33 Classic twin. I am getting ready to retire and my, now ten year old prepped $$$ Safari is nice and only been out of state three times- twice by me and, the wallet says NO. At least I have the TB towels! My bricks and sticks house has a designed Ethan Allen/Tommy Bahama plantation decor! Oh well, island life- RELAX.

Bay Area Airstream got one in yesterday, saw it today when I picked our trailer up from service. A few pretty cool touchs, including a tropical motif in the head.

Was just thinking that the head in this unit would have to be called, "The jungle room."

Oh fiddle-faddle. The tropical theme is redundant and boring.

I have been pleading for an aviation-themed Airstream for years. Makes sense, considering its design history.

Show it off at Oshkosh. They would sell!

The tank sensors, weather conditions, voltmeter, etc, should look like a panel from a Grumman Goose.

Same with all switches throughout coach.

Oxblood leather with sheepskins.

But you're the only one who'll want the green interior anticorrosion paint!

One of the beauties of Airstream ownership and design is that you can have any interior motif that your little hearts desire. Why wait for Airstream to read your minds? Redesign and modify away. For possibility $5k you can duplicate the look. Personally I like the limited edition looks of both the TB and Pendleton. They had no problem selling every Pendleton and the same will apply to the TBs.
