The tour is one of the things that finally pushed us to get our Argosy.

Not sure I get the crack in the article about Airstream "stubbornly holding onto the past." While quality control could be better for finish work, how else are you going to build big riveted shells of what is essentially a low-volume product?

Also like how the author used some of the listings to promote his cheap airfare site...

Good to know you can go on a factory tour without needing a passport.

Airstreams are among rare hand-built American products. Not always perfect but something to be proud of.

I'd have to add the Corvette assembly plant in KY to the list and the Vette museum across the street.
