Well, since I’m not rebuilding it I will go from memory.
No issues so far with the small dump. It might actually help since the velocity is faster thru the small hole. I will be dumping it this weekend into a blueboy and carting off. I will report any issues.
If I recall, the fridge cabinet top has to come off before the side can be removed. No big deal, just a few screws from the other side of the opposite wall.
All of this is completely subjective to previous owner modifications, rare but possible right?
Back to the beginning with this question. Did you heat and bend the diffuser so that it permanently took the curved shape, or it is just bent and under tension always trying it's hardest to straighten back out?
I am asking because I need a similar diffuser for my 1962 Safari.
VTS now sells the curved diffuser in 48" lengths. I searched and fabricated (poorly) for 11 years. VTS has a great product! 1962 Flying Cloud
