New 2019 Interstate Nineteen

Posted 12-16-2018 at 05:09 PM by Robkhoo

We picked up our shortie from Dave Arbogast RV after we flew into Dayton, OH.

We spent our first night at Poor Farmerís Campground freezing our tails off at 17 degrees overnight! The electric cord froze to the unit.

Itís difficult to camp in a fully winterized RV.

We had some troubles with the step, so Arbogast sent us to the Jackson Center Airstream headquarters to have a new step installed.

We have issues with the house battery dying on us at home, requiring us to learn how to use the Battery Assist to jump the house battery. That battery is losing its charge within a day so that may need to be checked.

Using the USB port above the Fusion Navisystem caused the NAV system to malfunction but turning on the Battery Disconnect switch and turning it back on rebooted the NAV system which is now working again.

A lot to learn, none of which is in the Nineteen Manual.

We are learning.

And look....the Nineteen fits in a regular parking spot.
