Solution for Tank Cover

Using a piece of hollow aluminum tubing from my local hardware store, managed to create a way to hold up the lid on the tank cover. No need to drill any holes, just used the existing bolts and nuts...

Thanks to all for the comments and the Service Bulletin. Dealer is 250 miles away and not a very knowledgeable dealer. Do not like just taking a router to plywood for water drainage solution!
