So I got back to the U.S. in late January, and have been running around like crazy trying to take care of my personal life stateside, and migrated my AS from Alabama to Texas where I live and work.
First thing I did was stay out at Belton Lake here, which by the way is a beautiful area. I stayed there for about 2 months, and since my air conditioner ended up not working so hot (and finding black mold in the AS), I decided to put it in storage, and stay in an apartment for the time...

Okay, so I've been thinking about trying to set up my camper with internet access on the go, but I have no clue what route to take. I've seen those little USB cards you can get from cell phone companies to plug into your laptop, but I've also seen satellite dishes you can set up for internet. I want very fast internet, and have no clue what to do in order to set it up, and not get overcharged. If any of you have advice, I'll love some input. Thanks!

So after a list of hard changes in my life which are beyond mentioning, I'm looking at life as a fresh start. I'd always been what you could call a gypsy or a nomad, and when I recently became aware of the fun world and life of Airstreamin', I knew this was my building block into new joys and experiences I have yet to realize.
It's convenient that I have friends around all the states, which means I've got an excuse to drag myself from coast to coast. This Forums website amazed me...

Welcome back! Hey, I would like to hear more about your thoughts on Belton Lake. I am most excited about your refurb plans as that sounds real similar to what I am trying to do to my old Argosy...please keep me posted..

My husband has used the Verizon Wireless USB on his computer for over a 1 1/2 years. Verizon goes everywhere it seems or pretty close to it. He would run it all day watching email or searching the Internet. He uses it for business. He has never use it with YouTube though. On my Comcast broadband some of the videos/movies run slow. It depends on the video on YouTube how compressed they made it. For us $60 a month was worth it.
