Major condensation problem
I have lots of water pouring on walls, so much that a big puddle has formed on the floor. It was raining outside but I doubt it's the rain. I tightened the window and extended the awning just in case.
It looks like over a few days, several gallons have been spilled via condensation. Same thing in the bedroom too. Last winter too. I took a hose last summer, sprayed the window and could find no leaks.
How does one fight condensation? With a dehumidifier?

I doubt that condensation will cause a huge puddle like you describe.
I bet you have a leak up high somewhere that is dripping down through the walls and coming out where the puddle forms.
You can fight condensation via ventilation, or a de-humidifier.
But I really think that there is a leak somewhere. Might be the a/c mount, or a roof vent, or antenna seal etc.etc.

Maybe you are right. The water is coming right from the area where the Suburban furnace is. I opened the cabinet under the sink, looked there and saw some water down there.
There was also a lot of water where the bottom of the window is - not sure how to describe that part. It was about 1" deep. I assumed it was condensation. The strange thing is, it happened all of a sudden. 2 weeks ago, when it was really cold and I had all my heaters turned to max, I had no such leak issues. It only happened when it rained.
If it is a leak, how do find out where it is?

I solved some mystery leaks by researing the exterior seams on my trailer. I never did find out exactly where the leaks were, but we must have hit them along the way. This required crawling all over the roof and sealing EVERYTHING - around the vent, around the vent pipes, around the fridge and stove vents. We masked off around the seams and cleaned out the old sealant and refilled them with parbond. Obviously you need a few dry days to do this, and parbond might have some rules for how cold it can be as well.
As for condensation, I run a small electric heater and use a dri-z-air to collect the water. But it's never as much water as you're talking about.

I would look around the immediate area where you find the water first, then look up higher. It's like Stef said, sometimes you got to start sealing things until the leak stops.
Be aware that water leaks are among your trailers worst enemies!

The fact that you had no condensation issues when you would expect them, when you were running the furnace, but you are having water inside when it rains, makes me think you have a leak. They can be hard to find, I am still finding them. Check alll the obvious holes in the roof, like the A/C and vents, and also the seams and gaskets around the Vista View windows, if your coach has them.
Good luck in your search.

wouldn't it be nice if they would show up in the summer when it would be easier to fix... they seem to show up on cold rainy nights he he he ... I covered mine with a tarp and waited till the rains stopped then searched for couple days ... then gave up the search and re sealed roof and windows and vents. it quit raining inside... he he
