Everything looks great. What type of product did you use to redo the tub/ sink area? Currently remodeling a 74 Argosy. Need suggestions.

Most people are using Krylon Fusion paint.

In the bathroom, we used a light sanpaper and sanded everything down, and then painted it with the plastic Krylon Paint. It turned out rally nice.

Thumbs up Lovely work--congratulations on a job well done!

It surely makes all that hard work worth it when you see the before and after doesn't it?

What did you use to resurface your bathroom? We have big gaps in the corners as well. I hope our turns out as nice as yours.

We sanded down the rough spots with a fine sandpaper and steel wool. At the time we were in a hurry to get it done, so we tried the Krylon fusion paint. It turned out better than I thought it would! I did spray the inside of the sink and bathtub with a few coats of clear coat.

As far as the gaps that are visible, I just caulked them and made look the best I could. Eventually I want to take it all apart and redo it a little better, but for now it works!

I am real impressed with the look of the Krylon. Any idea as to durability and long term wear? I'm ready to try it out.

Well, it was several months ago when we did this. The last pictures were taken today. I have run alot of water in the bathtub and sink, the paint has held up with no problems. As far as the long term, I will just have to wait and see how it does. I did this with the intention of it being a temporary fix, we will just leave until it needs redone.

P.S. If you do any sanding before painting, make sure you wipe out all of the dust. Otherwise you will not have a smooth surface. First time I thought I had got all the dust out, looked good but surface was not smooth at all. I sanded it smooth again and used vaccum and a wet rag, then repainted.
