Add bunk bed Airstream 345LE

HI! I'm a new owner from a 1990 Airstream 345 LE . We need to add 2 beds for my a 12 and 14 yo teenagers. My first idea is to remove the sofa bed behind the driver’s seat (in front of the door) and build simple bunk bed. But i'm worried that it's will be too big when you get in the RV. Someone’s done this kind of work before or have a better ideas? thank you
