1955 Safari Bathroom replacement

I need to build a replacement wet bath for my 55 Safari.
I have been scouring threads about wet bath enclosures and have found some great stuff.
Some suggest covering a plywood enclosure with 24 ga. stainless steel, but I am thinking of applying a fiberglass/epoxy covering onto a wood enclosure.
My original plan was to fiberglass some redwood from a dismantled sauna however I hear that the fiberglass epoxy won't adhere to redwood.
Would new birch plywood work with a fiberglass epoxy coat as a wet bath enclosure?

Actually, I may use Okoume 3mm marine plywood with fiberglass epoxy coat.
Chesapeake Boat uses this stuff to make boats...so a wet bath should not present an issue...

That sounds like it would work fine. The only thing that might get tricky is the curves at the top & ceiling.

Here's an older post with a picture of a wood shower pan that's pretty cool!
