Possessed Lights

Well this is an odd one,,,,and frustrating. Few nights ago temp was in low 20's. Woke up at 2:00 am to the dinette lights going from bright to dim on their own. Went to light panel to turn off,,,no luck. Went to main firefly panel to turn off,,,no luck. Couldn't get them to stop cycling bright to dark to bright. Finally noticed some condensation on the inside wall around the light panel. Pulled the plastic cover off the circuit board and warmed with a hair dryer. After a few minutes, it allowed me to turn off. Guess we had a drop of water on the circuit board creating a contact. Dang.

The 17 Classic bathroom firefly panel is just under the window, low 20s, condensation, same-o, same-o. A piece of clear tape for a drip awning worked.

Hi

A can of silicone lube can also be handy for moisture and circuit boards. Some grab WD-40 since this is exactly what it was originally designed for. Don't mix the two though.
