2022 upgrades to the Classic 30
I read somewhere that they are putting Roman shades in the 2022 Classic instead of the blinds they currently have. Can anyone confirm this and if so, does that mean that the valances will go away? Thanks.

Will be interesting to see what they do. The current shades are nice but fragile and expensive to replace.

Yes, I am too really waiting to see what they have in store for 2022 across the board. Normally this info would have been out there at least a month ago, but Covid and all, and parts shortages everywhere, I can understand why we all don't have this info yet.

Just ordered a 2022 30' Classic Twin.
I am being told that new color schemes are coming for 2022 and that expected delivery should be April/May. : Apparently foam for the cushions are in short supply... Hopefully delivery can be accomplished sooner.
I was also told that the web site with 2022 specs should be available next week.

I was at my dealer this past Week and I was told the covers around the windows will be removed and as you said the 2022 models will come with a very nice looking roman shade. Also going forward all models will now come with compressor refrigerators.
The other big news is all Classics will now come with Battle Born Heated Batteries too.

Lithium batteries will be standard and the propane tanks will be 30# vs 40. There is some sort of structural mod to the roof - not sure what it does but I understand it does not change interior height.

We picked up our 2021 Classic last Sat. We refrigerator is the new one and the plug is now the smart plug. I was told the shades on the 33' will be Roman shades and not electric anymore. They didn't say the 30' shades would be different, it would make sense to change them.

I ordered a Classic 33 last month. Delivery is end of June 2022. I know the interior color choices have changed. I had to pick from some very fuzzy pictures. Beyond that I really am not sure what I have signed up for. Really looking forward to AS putting something out on the website so we can see if we will be happy... ;-)

We have the 40# tanks on ours. They told us that the batteries, inverter, and converter are different in the 2022 models.

I have a 2022 on order for nov delivery. Hopefully they don’t change a ton. I like the electric blinds. We have them in our current 33 twin, and it would be a downgrade to me to lose them.

Something sounds wrong with that delivery date unless for some reason there is a hold on the classics.
I ordered a 2022 Globetrotter 23' FB twin with delivery set for September as in 2 months from now.

Much of the delivery time is dependent on when specific dealers have a slot for a particular model. Not first come first served.

This is very true. We were told in early May by 2 different dealers in Southern California to expect an order to take around 7 months and as much as 10 months. However there was already an identical model we wanted of a 2022 on the list to be going to the dealer in 3+ months and so we put a down on it. Now all that said, who knows if in 1 month from now we will actually be getting that model or if it will still be being built and also we have been warned that sometimes they may sit days or weeks awaiting transport. Maybe it is late August/ early September or maybe we will be lucky to get it before the end of the year.

I'm certainly trying to be optimistic and thinking that they are under promising and hope to over perform. It's Colonial giving me that timing. Others have said 1 year for the same model. I don't know if it's parts shortages, high demand or a combination of both.
In the meantime camping with our 2016 25' Flying Cloud will be just fine until then.[emoji2]

I heard a rumor that the next "Tommy Bahama " style model will be a "Pottery Barn model"!
Hmmm, that could be interesting.

A picture of the roman shades in a new Classic was posted on Facebook. Facebook Link....see if works for you.
I don't know if I really care for the look now. It looks kind of cheep, but I know it opens up the space throughout the trailer and that is something others have desired.

I like the new shades. The current ones with the valances are finicky in the corners and seem quite sensitive. Would like the simplicity of these newer ones…..

I saw the 33 at International this week. I really liked the shades. Lithium batteries now standard in classic. I was told they had to roll out the 12v refrigerator early due to non availability of the previous 2 way. One thing I could not find out was the manufacturer of the air conditioners. The cover was plain white with no logo of any kind.

Anyone have specific information on the brand and model numbers for the new charger and inverter. I am thinking about replacing my two AGM with Battleborn Lithiums and would like the install to be similar to factory.
