Recliner installs

2020 30' Classic. Has anyone recently had the couch removed and recliners installed at Jackson Center? Curious as to what modifications they did and what is the max width size swivel recliners that will fit.
We had a 25'FC modified and recliners installed over 4 years ago at JC. We had the Lambright swivel recliners with wood front arms 26' width installed. Would like to go to a little wider recliner in the Classic.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

In 2019 I removed the loveseat out of my 2018 Classic 33FB and installed two 26” wide Lambright recliners. Did all the work myself.

During my design process I consulted with Ian at Ultimate Airstream in Portland, OR. At that time they had two Classic 30’s in their shop for recliner installs. You may get some good ideas from him, or by reviewing their projects on the website.

Was your 25' a wide body?

If it was then it's same width as 2020 30' Classic.

My 25' was a 2015 FC. It was the first year AS came out with ducted air. We had two Lazy Relax swivel recliners by Lambright installed at JC. They measured 26" wide by 42'h by33" OD and we had lots of room. I think the 30' Classic is the same width except it has the Alde system with the small radiator like sides located on the sides of the current couch.

We priced the change to recliners with Jackson Center and was quoted somewhere north of $7k excluding the actual recliners of which they told us we would have to supply. There scope of work would be to a) remove the existing sofa, build a center wood cabinet to host both the 12v DC distribution panel and sub-woofer, then fabricate the curved shields for the Alde Hydronic Heating that is otherwise revealed behind the sofa. When further asked they also advised that the wood cabinet would be made of the same interior wood but would not include a matching corian top.

We're going to do it but with a third party and not the factory simple due to the existing Villa Intl. sofa with footrest being so dammed uncomfortable and low at the back. Just. have to find the fabricator that can make/replicate the hydronic shields. The rest will be easy.
