I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This 2017 27 FT International Signature Grand Lounge Gourmet was built by Ultimate Airstream and has been owned and lived in full time by an Airstream Ambassador (me) for the last year. It has been professionally upgraded with everything you'd want for life on the road including 400 watts of solar, a 300 amp/hour lithium ion battery, 2000 watt inverter, butcher block counter with six additional drawers for storage, a 3" lift, 16" wheels, an Airstream Connect Wifi package and so much more. The original list price just over two years ago was well over $120,000 USD and worth every penny.
The Grand Lounge conversion provides a far more space efficient area in the rear of the trailer, which can be used to seat up to six people, convert into a lounge with a side table, or drop down entirely into a bed. It includes an upgraded U dinette with two individual Corian counter top tables that match the counters in the kitchen, plus improved foam in the dinette seats and higher quality vinyl which can stand up to anything you throw at them.
Of course, there's also the butcher block counter top which provides a perfect place to cook, prep, or just set personal belongings. Underneath are a set of drawers which I can say are a life saver for keeping the trailer organized and clear of stuff. It also includes additional USB and 110v outlets, and storage wrapping around the entire rear end of the trailer underneath the seats.
The solar, electrical, and lithium ion battery upgrades were all done by AM Solar and Ultimate Airstream, and are better than anything that came from the factory. The Airstream Connect system was actually installed by Airstream and used for their testing process. It was even on Airstream's home page for a while, so rest assured it was professionally done and not some home hack job.
To be honest this thing is so loaded that it's easier just to post the spec sheet and let the photos speak for themselves, so I've done just that.
Douglas, as he's come to be affectionately known, has wanted for nothing since new. He has been serviced at Airstream dealers only and meticulously cared for his entire life. I can't tell you how much I love this trailer, or how good it has been to me. It is beautiful inside and out, and set up for remote boon-docking, comfortable living, or impressing guests anywhere you want to take it.
If I could change anything, I wouldn't, which begs the question, why sell it?
Well, changes in my job have me traveling light and moving fast these days. I will be spending the foreseeable future on the road with just my truck, and the Airstream will end up sitting unused. Even so, I don't have to sell it, which is why I placed it in covered storage in Prescott AZ out of the heat and sun to await my return or a possible sale.
On that note, I will consider reasonable offers, but as I'm out of town and must pay someone to show the trailer, I would appreciate only serious buyers scheduling showings. Should someone want to make the purchase I will fly home and handle all the paperwork. I really appreciate your consideration, and I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.
Note: I realize I did not include pictures of the bathroom, shower or closet, or many of the accessories. We are limited to ten photos, and more can be provided if need be. Just know they are in perfect shape and come standard as you'd find on any international signature.
