1987 Airstream Excella 32'
I am the third owner of this Airstream. It has been well cared for and maintained and has been parked in New Mexico for the past 7 years where I used it to camp once a month. There are absolutely no mold, mildew, or smoking odors.
* Rear twins, center roadside isle bath
* Dinette in front, as well as a "flip lounge" sofa which quickly and easily converts to a bed. The dinette also converts to a bed.
* Kitchen has good counterspace, 4 burner range with oven, original Amana microwave, newer large refrigerator.
* Floor covering is original short nap mauve(ish) carpeting,still in good condition.
* All other usual Airstream amenities in this 32' trailer.
* The interior cabinets and trim are oak and are in excellent condition in all aspects.
* There is no sun damage to the fabrics and soft goods in the trailer.
* Has curtains only on front wrap-around windows. All other windows have day/night shades or mini-blinds.
* The blue valances shown in the bedroom have been removed.
The unit has been properly maintained and items replaced to professional standards as needed.
* Refrigerator replaced in 2000 by previous owner.
* I have replaced the following items:
* Water heater (DSI) propane unit
* Water pump: Variable speed Flojet pump
* Furnace: 30,000 Btuh Suburban
* Added: Fantastic Fan Vent, with thermostat and rain sensor.
* Pioneer CD/Stereo w/remote and new front and rear speakers.
* New OPD valves on the 40# Aluminum tanks
* New American Standard kitchen sink faucet
* New Thetford toilet
* New Progressive Dynamics 3 stage converter/charger.
* Added a Tri Metric battery monitor
* Added electronic gas tank change over monitor
* Two new deep cycle batteries this year
* New tires when I bought it, so 7 years old but less than 2500 miles total and have been kept covered.
The trailer has Zip Dee Awnings on all sides. The body is free of significant dents and would polish up beautifully. There is no rear end frame/body separation.
Reese adjustable mount hitch included, newly purchased. It has an electric tongue jack. Also included if desired is a Thetford 35 gallon portable waste tank.
The negatives:
* The clear coat is in poor condition and the blue graphics are badly faded (NM sun), but the body is very good. The pictures make it look shinier than it is.
* The Air Conditioner is original and it works but the shroud has sun deteriorated and needs to be replaced.
* The folding steps for the door are not in working order but can be fixed.
* The pull-down shade built into the door is not functional.
* Registration is out of date.
This is a very nice unit, priced for quick sale.
