I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
As few as 800 Bambi's were made between
1961 and
1963 This
1961 Model was number 147 off the Production line: The Bambi has a dry weight of
1950 pounds and a tongue weight of 250 pounds. It's 16 feet in length.
In 2010 A major overall took place, A new axle, braking system, suspension, tires and hubs were installed, plus spare tire. New flooring inside, Norcold Refrigerator, Designer lights,
12 volt 2-speed fans, plus ceiling fan, Original Bowen heater and Carlson Gas heater were kept A Mansfield Traveler 910 China Toilet and shower unit remain in working order. New water tank and custom blinds and aft collapsible table were installed.
Custom made rear bumper and exterior running & brake led lights were added, Brand new battery, and retro brown and white awning with poles all make for a unique look. I am also offering a cyclone polisher in the asking price. The Bambi is in the Hudson Valley approx. 100 miles North of Manhattan.. The Airstream has a current New York License plate.
