The news letter looks great. I will try to keep up. I will be a bit more involved as soon as the summer rolls around. Work is keeping me really busy.

The newsletter is great! Obviously a lot of work. Maybe you should get an intern. Or perhaps charge dues so you can hire a ....forget it.

The news letter will only get better and better. If you are at all inclined to contribute an article, please do. I know many have thought how cool it would be to be an author. Here is a prime opportunity to do just that. Perhaps you have always wanted to be a photo documentarian. Please make that dream come true by sharing with the group.

Maybe you can get a trailer-flipper to advertise!
Newsletter looks great - and is the result of much hard work, I'm sure.

Looks great guys, and it's awesome to see all the names on that members list!!! Can't wait to see where this goes...
Will you also be posting any known rallies/get-togethers in future newsletters?

Who is the editor of the TAC newsletter? Frank is that your domain? Also will Rob and Frank be the officers each year or will there be rotation and how will that be accomplished? I don't recall seeing that information published previously. Now that all or most forum rallies that have been held for years prior to TAC have now ascribed to have been TAC rallies all along retroactively and have now adopted the status. So I think it is a question others beside myself may also wonder about.

I think there's an officer in charge of karaoke and an officer in charge of margaritas. Rob will give you a number if you're into that sort of thing AND the shirt off his back. He's also known as our Supreme Giggler Emeritus.
I know Sir Francis was recently nominated as TAC's official breakfast consultant, hugger, and token hippie.
Ace is quite simply the wind beneath everyone's wings....
I don't know if we have any more offices or committees other than that. If we do, I hope they introduce themselves here.
Your photography is simply stunning Carol. Would you like to be on the Photo Committee? That would be totally awesome.

Rob put it together I am a mere contributor. The entire nature of the club is for mere members like me or you(if you choose to join again) to participate when we feel the urge. If you would like to contribute it would be very welcomed. Your photos are incredible and would make a great addition to the newsletter.
Also will Rob and Frank be the officers each year or will there be rotation and how will that be accomplished? I don't recall seeing that information published previously.
Last I checked, there were no officers. It is the officers that most people object to in the club with Mr Byam's name in it. Most do not want that kind of formality and that part was widely published.
Now that all or most forum rallies that have been held for years prior to TAC have now ascribed to have been TAC rallies all along retroactively and have now adopted the status.
I think that is your perception. The Airstreamer's Club members are free to call the rallies they host what ever they want. I doubt past Forums rallies are referred to as TAC rallies. There are many members of the TAC in the club with Mr Byam's name in it. I doubt anyone that hosted rallies for that club now refers to them as TAC rallies. We are looking forward not backward.
So I think it is a question others beside myself may also wonder about.

I actually do not think these were things that were just wondered, I think these questions were meant to instigate something. If the actions of The Airstreamer's Club offend you, then just look somewhere else. Politics is not a part of the club. We are here to enjoy each others fellowship with our trailers. We are dead serious about having fun. We want to welcome anyone that is interested in the same regardless of weather they have a vintage rig or a brand new one. We want people that are just curious about Airstream trailers to participate. Interest often develops into ownership. This is all very simple and does not need to be made complicated. It is what you make it and nothing more.
I am sure there will be a response to what I said above and I will do my best to answer any more things you wonder about. One you might ask is the proceeds from the mugs, shirts, and hats. The profit is very minimal. The total cost of all the products came out of Ace's own pocket. Once he is repaid, the difference will be re invested into more products for future requests.

As Frank said, I put it together.. the Supreme Giggler (I like that one!!!) - as I'm no editor ( I got a D in Plebe English and there is a reason that both my degrees are in Math )
Thanks for wondering Carol - but, it is as people say - no politics, no officers (or maybe I'm the Benevolent Dictator - ha!!! ) - it's merely a club that belongs to the Airstreamers and is open to anyone interested in Airstreams or one who has that Airstream spirit.. nothing less, but a whole lot more!! I truly believe in the KISS principle..... unlike the club with Mr. Byam's name on it....
Looking forward to future TAC newsletter contributors as well.
TAC on!

Thank you much. No I am not offended but I am curious. Hope you aren't offended either. That's just my nature. Actually perhaps I am the only one that might point blank ask online, but I can't believe I am the only one that has wondered... or perhaps I am just THAT unique and actually am the only one... Creator, giggler and then contributors, my faux pas to say officers, very political and uncool.
I like drag'nwagon's newsletter name of tac rag. Very creative. Also any club with karaoke is bound to be fun. Just asking...I imagine after the other club's shenanigans having direct questions answered promptly is a sheer and transparent pleasure to all! Reserving judgment and observation is merely a cautious approach.

A little TOO familiar, but in this case it's a good thing, right? I might have to be the official cup bearer some day.
