Did Wally own a house?

There was a long discussion on another thread about the distinction between "full timing" and "homeless". It got me thinking. It seems like Wally and Stella Byam were always going on a Caravan, just getting back from one, or planning the next one. Did the Byams even own a house? Or an apartment? Or were they full time Airstream travellers?

I'd heard that Wally and Stella stayed here when not on the move.

A Porsche Cabriolet and a Corvair Monza Coupe seem like the kind of vehicles that Wally would drive when not traveling in an Airstream.

The home on Lindora Street in Bakersfield, CA was the Schwamborn's residence, not Wally's.

Yes, that is right here in Bakersfield, CA. PeeWee actually discussed the house in some thread here, but I couldn't find it with a quick search. Who would have thought Bakersfield was World Headquarters for the WBCCI for a brief time.

Used to live around the hill (Mt. Washington) from there. Let me tell you while his house had the parking spaces. The road to it and the room get in and out of that driveway would be a test many would fail.
