Whip some cream into stiff peaks or add a bit of sugar to plain yogurt (or you can just purchase some sweetened vanilla yogurt). Softened vanilla ice-cream also works.

Go to dipping!

Forgot to mention - if the kiddies are young and you are worried they might swallow the toothpick, use the 6" skewers instead of the toothpicks. The longer ones would be safer!
