Airstream Cake

Here's the cake I baked for the 2010 RMVAC "Celebrate Aluminum" Rally. It was chocolate cake with raspberry filling and fondant frosting....this is only the 2nd fondant cake I've made. I'm no Ace of Cakes, but it was well received and fun to make!

I'm guessing it ended up with a case of rear-end separation too!! Great job on both!

Mine is grey fondant with edible silver dust airbrushed on it. You mix the dust with vodka which evaporates and leaves the dust behind.
