UpsideDown 50 amp Socket At Pedestal

Hi,

Well I got the very last space at a 1000 Trails so can't move but the danged 50 amp socket was installed upside down! Ever heard of that?!

Currently have surge protector propped up underneath so the cord isn't bent too bad.

I can't imagine a 50 to 50 amp 180° socket or is this a "common" issue requiring such things?

Found an online discussion elsewhere by a guy who said he seen sideways and upside down a few times but this is a first for me...

Any advice?

Kinda figures it’s a 1000 Trails campground. Sloppy maintenance I’d bet.

Talk the campground management into fixing it so it’s right side up?

Covid has skeleton crew "host". I'll see Monday as they really need to fix it and wouldn't cost them a dime as the electrician is liable......

Looks like a recent install so maybe I'm the first 50 amp rig to land here.

Called the campground office at 9am and before 10am an electrician arrived and fixed it!

Beyond my expectations! 1000 Trails Encore Resort in Show Low, AZ!
