Congrats and enjoy!
I second staying overnight at the dealer. Bring sheets for bed and towels unless a Walmart is close by (that's what we had to do). Just an overwhelming amount of stuff to take in. After they demonstrate everything, spend the evening going back over all systems and make sure they work. Especially check batteries, likely to be DOA if they weren't maintained at dealership. They should have electric power and should be able to drain your tanks in the morning. Use it all! Put some water in fresh water tank and make sure pump works and is relatively quiet. Unplug and check voltage on batteries - maybe even open battery box cover and check fluid levels. We spent night at dealers and found a couple small problems they fixed next morning. Still didn't check all systems but tried. Open all drawers and cabinets to verify hinges/slides/catches work to your satisfaction.

I would stay at the Dealership if you are new to RVing. You will have a bunch of questions the next morning.

If you are in Tampa I'm sure you are going to Tampa RV. We stayed at the SunRVResort next door. When we picked ours up Tampa Airstream was still under construction. Get a pull through.
The Hurricane isn't making land fall on the west coast till Monday. You got time, especially if your pick up was today, Friday. Note Dorian, the storm, is going to turn north on Monday/Tuesday and head up the east coast...……...well maybe. You have some time.
Of course you are already somewhere there.

Make sure all works before you pay for the AS. Use ALL functions. Multiple times

Videoing the walk through was a huge help, to me. I still use the video's months after picking up the trailer.
I recommend several short videos that you label. This helps when you are looking for a specific problem. It is a bummer to scan through a number of subjects to find the one you want.
I used my phone to video, for me it was the right move. I always have my phone with me so help is at my fingertips.
Don't worry about quality. It only has to be good enough for you to follow the subject, not put on YouTube.
Enjoy
Mike

Very cool!
We were told a 2 month wait for our trailer to arrive. I'm curious how long they told you. (For example, did they say two months and after one month they said, "Hey! It's here now")
Hope ours arrives sooner than later also!

Congrats on your purchase. Sound advice from all above, but....many things are unknowable until you start using it. For example, our AC would not work in temps above 85F. Weak attachments come loose after bouncing down the road. The good news is the warranty is good. Document all the failures needing repair and inspect that the repair is done correctly.

I agree with everyone. Except, .... Do an exhaustively detailed walk-thru with the dealer rep; then, spend the night there. Test everything a second time. Unplug from shore power and test all 12v/DC systems. Then, when you get home and plugged in (making sure, of course that you have true RV 50 amp service; the plug for which looks deceptively like a 220 dryer connection), do it all over again. Congrats and have fun.
