My First RV a 2004 25 classic

Just getting to know this AS creature...can use some assistance.
Pulled the propane canisters off the trailer. Gauges say they are full
but they don't feel heavy enough to be full. Took them to gas company to fill
and they wouldn't take any gas. How do I tell if they are full or mal-functioning?

MBuck1,

Aren’t the tanks stamped with empty weight?

I think your propane source could help you interpret the cryptic collar markings and figure out where you are.

Welcome to AF pics are always welcome.

PS Bartlett was home in 99-02

Here a video that explains how a propane tank if filled. It should give you the info you are looking for. I'm assuming the person attempting to fill your tank used the following procedure. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...-FhXObG8o1ewzZ

Note from the video that properly filled tanks are never filled "full". They are filled to 80% which is considered and measured as full.
