Now and then you read an advertisement and you wince at what has been done to some rigs. I suppose though that this wouldn't look a lot different than a regular Airstream MoHo of mid eighties vintage.

22' CLASSIC 1955 Airstream trailer, outside beautiful, needs some interior work, $2000,
I spied it last night late so called early this morning and it has been sold. Obviously it went right away since it was only listed on Friday.

Gruman did for a long time build delivery van bodies like the one shown in the previous pages photo for Ford, Chevy And Dodge chassis.
The same as motorhomes of today are built on various SOB chassis.

Grumman did indeed build utility bodied trucks like a step van, and now build the "Long-Life" mail trucks for the USPS. Originally built with AMC/Jeep running gear, they now employ Ford Ranger components.
A very good company with good products, they still never owned Airsteam.

Not CL, but eBay.
$170,000 ( reserve not met!!) 1978 Sovereign.
And they misspelled it as "Soverign"!
Wow though -- what a job. An incredible makeover including many beautiful touches: the woodgrain, extended storage area above the rear bed, appliances... and some frivolous things that add weight but not much functionality: under floor lighting in the shower, giant t.v. at the foot of the bed (how do you see around your feet?!)
But again... they did quite a job, assuming they haven't Photoshopped out the gaps and flaws.

We popped down to Boise on Wednesday and picked up Greg's '53 he found on CL. Nice trailer - quite original in many aspects like appliances and lights. It has had some work done on it in the past but not too much. He will use it pretty much as is this year I suspect and then tackle it over the next winter.
It is amazing the neat stuff that shows up on CL.

Aluminum Tanks for $100 on Craigslist
I bought the aluminum tanks on Craigslist for $100 in Ohio. Nice seller. I thought the $688 new price was way off high and the actual selling price was way off low.

I just found this on our local caigslist. I really don't know if it's free or not, but it may be worth the call if you have room.

It looks homemade because look where the door is. Typically on truck campers, the door is located in the rear so you can get in and out of the trailer without having to remove the trailer from the bed of the truck.
There is a company (name starts with an "A") that manufacturers truck campers similar to that. Perhaps the owner purchased the manufacturered camper and then modified it by moving the door to the side.
