Howdy and welcome to Airforums.com!
Wow, you sure did a nice job on that trailer! That is the first "Romany" model I have seen. Keep posting photos, I'd love to see more of it!

Nice job. The Romany apparently was a bare bones model in an attempt to hit a certain price point. They did not make very many of them that is for sure. The International Sovereign rear bath twin bed model appears to have been the most common in 1975.

The only differance i can find in this Romany model is the outside beltline trim, and the badges of course.Bathroom and bed area is about 95% complete.front lounge area is finished.kitchen is getting the cabinets built now.all interior lighting is now switched over to LED.Charger/converter is a new 55amp wfco.

The flooring is solid bamboo, the cabinets are going to be done to resemble the new airstreams..No exposed wood.all faces are formica laminate with full extension glides on the drawers.Opted for no oven..microwave and cooktop only.

thanks for the kind words!..havent finished the polishing yet, hot summer time got in the way.im over halfway done with the stripping and rough polishing ,and it was kicking my butt, so i moved inside and worked in the A/C..Camper was in decent shape to begin with but once you start it seams there is no place to stop...hate the woodgrain so it had to go..we wanted to keep it fun and 70ish so thats where the greens/blues came from..

Only real surprise ive found was the buckled ibeam just behind the front axel on the curb side..looks like it hit something hard on that wheel and pushed the axel upward enough to bend the channel and web frame..made a hump in the floor under the kitchen cabinets.and broke the cabinets free of the wall..had to straighten and reweld the web frame to the 8" ibeam...airstream had only tack welded every other 4th web..i welded all of them to be safe.
