Roof Coating on a 1972 Sovereign

Has anyone coated their roof down to the street side awning rail to help reduce the heat on the frig and other areas. Has anyone got pics of yours if you have painted down to the awning. Could not find anything on the FORUM. Trying to reduce the heat inside due to the heat we are having in the Southeast and not make it look odd. Thanks

We painted the roof a few years ago with a ceramic paint, Dicor product I think. Has worked well, and we can feel the difference. No chalking so far.

I didn't paint that far down, but have wished I had at times.

I used Industrial Imron about five years ago, it's held up perfectly and makes a huge difference.

Thanks all, my roof is coated rivet line to rivet line. Since my street side awning goes from end cap to end cap seam I think I will paint down to the awning rail to see if it helps and hope it doesn't look to bad since it can't be seen standing at ground level. Putting another coat on the original sealer and repairing a few places that have bubbled up along the rivet line. Minno I followed your thread the entire time I rebuilt my 31 Sovereign and I thank you again. J Morgan thank you for your input also and by the way you furnished me with my screen door hinge I was missing. It is great to know people like you all are there to help.
