Boondocking 101
We have a boondocking seminar planned for Friday, hosted by a pair of veteran boondockers. Boondocking adds a whole new dimension to traveling and camping. Whether over nighting in a Cracker Barrel parking lot or enjoying a long weekend beside a pristine lake, you will still have all the comforts you have become accustomed to with hook ups. Here are some samplings of the things they will cover.
1. Travel with your fresh water holding tank full. Arrive at the rally with it full or fill it before parking.
2. Arrive with your grey and black tanks empty, or dump before you park. Figure 3-5 days holding capacity for grey water, 5-10 days for black.
3. Your 12v batteries will run everything in the rig except the 120v wall outlets....AC, microwave, TV. Lights, fans, water pump, furnace blower, refrigerator (on propane) all run from 12v. With some conservation, plan 2-5 days. We have means to recharge your batteries.
4. We will ''daisy chain'' water to each rig. Please bring two 25' white hoses and a ''Y''. These should be standard supplies in your rig already.
5. Our over flow area is very nice. We will all have room to open up awnings, set up a nice camp, all on beautiful, thick, mowed, carpet-like grass. No mud, rocks, or ruts.
6. We will also have a very nice dump station set up.
Boondocking does not mean doing with out, so have no fear if this is a new concept for you. We have a great location and plenty of help to get you going.

I hope you are going to teach the sewer care and hook up class again. As you can see it is clear that there are lots of people out there who have taken your class. How would anyone ever know that this is the right way to connect your sewer. You are such a good teacher.

Waterfall Hike
A couple things here, Brother John...First and foremost is this; Terry told me YOU used the blowdryer to handle that spectacular beard of yours..
Now onto business. As many of you know, I am organizing a Waterfall Hike for Friday Morning at 8:00 sharp. It's rough road getting there and than just a little bitty pull over for parking. I hope to take only two vehicles. I can take five other folks and me. We have seven people singed up right now, Please PM me to get on the list if you'd like to go.

Ha....now the secret is out. Blow drier keeps my beard nice and white. Doesn't do much for the wide part in my hair, though.

Interstate and B Van owners....please take note....
We are planning to park all the Interstates and B Vans together along the trees line, with full hook ups. We hope you will enjoy all being together for a ''sub rally'' of sorts.
It would be helpful if we have a head count on the number of you attending so we can make the arrangements.
