We lost our old site sometime this afternoon, so we just booked site #46.
Already working on more improvements to the A/S, actually just came in from the wood shop
PS. Still looking for that lobster bisque recipe.

We are really sad we aren't going to make it because we have a commitment at Cades Cove for Mothers Day Weekend and Misty River with both Tn Can Tourists and a small group of Airstreams. I know we all will have a blast. Anyone wanting to know more about region WBCCI Western NC Airstream unit and all contact Misty River in Walland, TN for the weekend of 14th-18th! We will have a blast! Both Vintage Ca,per Rally and Airtream rally!

The Alumalina after party
To Sandlapper and the rest of the Alumalina "production crew"
After what was an amazing weekend full of fun and activities and great food, we were fortunate enough to be able to hang around Lake Wateree for an additional 2 days. While most of the Airstream guests had gone we had a late comer who had heard about the party and wanted to be a part of the festivities. We were extra kind to him and told him of the fun we would have in September. He promised to hang around and wait for us to return. We assured him he would definitely receive a very warm welcome from all who attend.
Thanks for all your hard work to make the event a huge success. Looking forward to the fall.

I think the Possum Whisperer needs to join the Not a Band Band! Typically at Hiawasee, but maybe at the fall edition...

Brad,
Maybe we can start twisting her arm a bit to practice up a few pieces for the fall edition.
I bet we can get some fiddling, Oh Rebecca..............
Let's see we have had guitars from several pickers, Morrie had a squeeze box last year, the Andrews Sisters of SC Susan and Sandy, I have a Dulcimer but CANNOT PLAY IT DO NOT EVEN ASK, GOT IT! If our oldest came and we got her trombone working, the possums would just jump into the pot like the pied piper did to rats.

I told them we needed to put a brick on the lid

There was one possum in particular that would not cooperate. We turned our back for just a second, he knocked the lid off and scrambled into the bushes. We decided not to tell anyone for fear folks would be upset that we may not have enough possum to go around.
A possum in the pot is worth 2 in the bush. Next time we bring a brick.
And I totally agree, we need the Another Not a Band Band, including Rebecca, for the fall gathering. I will also reach out to Maury and his squeeze box.
John
