What is the correct torque?
Hi All,
Just purchased a 2004, 28' Classic and the dealer told me to assure that the torque for the aluminum wheels be kept at 110 ft. lbs. every day before I travel. Wanting to do it right and not hurt the trailer I've been doing just that during our 8 day, 2,400 mile maiden voyage. This is the first chance I've had to sit at a computer and ask for help! Still 500 miles from home and don't want to break anything.
The manual calls for it to be 85 ft. lbs. for the aluminum wheels which is right? 110 sounds like it's way too much . . .
Comments please!
