I have never lube and discs on my rig. About the only checking I know that MIGHT help is checking wobble / runout whenever rotating tires or brake insp and using infrared temp gun to monitor temps.
And I had a sticking pad heat up a brake and my Dill TPMS alerted me to that.
Thru a quirk if someone else’s axle R&R I was able to get spares and I carry a complete hub and caliper assy.
If you are good with tools I bet you can replace others. Special procedures.
I also carry a hydraulic line coupler and plug that allows plugging the line and maintaining 3 brakes if required.
