Henschen was purchased by Axis (sp) in about 2011. Then Dexter bought that whole business in about 2015. Dexter calls them 'torque flex" axles now.

Most Airstream axles are in the 3000 pound axle rating range. A 7200 pound axle would be a big mother for an Airstream trailer.

Hub can mean a lot of things. The torque flex axle has swing arms with spindles welded to them and then bearings and a drum brake installed over that. Maybe a photo of the "hub" you are looking for would be helpful.

I need the brake drum.. it’s actually a 14000 horse trailer on henschen axels.. I found out that henschen is no longer in business and that they were used on airstreams.. that’s why I’m at thus forum.. just trying to find the drum to avoid having to replace the entire axle..

Have you checked with Dexter?
You might try Redneck trailer supply.

A 12" brake drum is a 12" brake drum, at least as far as modern parts. The Airstream drum you asked for will not fit the spindle you have, you'll need one for 7000 pound capacity. The outer bearing is larger.

Thanks, that explains your post.

I bet your local utility trailer supply would have the drum, bearings and brake assembly if needed, for you. If they are a Dexter distributor, that is a plus.

Dexter does not make a replacement hub for this axle. I cannot find one for it. I’m going to have to replace the axle unless I can find someone that might have one for sale or on a trailer at a salvage yard
