I have a used (2 years old) Hensley Hitch from my Airstream. The dealer desires to sell it for me with a commission. Does anyone have an idea as to its value, and the best way to sell it? Two years ago I paid $2,800.
Thanks
A starting point to determine its value is to give Hensley a call - they have a program that will buy it back from you then re-condition it for resale as a rebuilt unit. Your participation is obviously up to you - but it will establish your minimum sale price and you can go from there.

I sold mine about six months ago on ebay for $900. Mine was older probably ten or twelve years old. Good condition though and I had two different ball mounts for it.
I was hoping to get a few hundred more for it but you know how it is...they're worth what someone will pay for them. I would expect that yours being newer would command a bit more money.
Woodedareas, we sell the reconditioned hitches for $2495 (S/N 6000 and higher). Less for the older ones. That should give you a good starting point. Good luck!
