Tow mirrors

My previous thread wasn’t clear, I goofed. I’m looking at a used 2020 Ram EcoDiesel Laramie pretty will equipped. It has a more than I need but no tow mirrors for my 19’ Bambi. SInce In have only towed the Bambi once with my 2017 Canyon with add on mirrors which I didn’t like because of mirror vibration and didn’t like looking at two mirrors.
I think I’m better off just ordering a new vehicle with factory tow mirrors unless those of you with far more experience have an alternative. I would move up to a full size RAM, Ford F 150 eco boost or hybrid or GMC either diesel or gas.

Could you change the mirrors to aftermarket tow mirrors?

Apparently you can by Mopar (OEM) mirrors for the 2020 Ram:

Although you don't want removable mirrors, we have used McKesh Mirrors (https://hensleymfg.com/products/mckesh-mirrors/) for many years with various Jeep Grand Cherokees towing our 19'. They don't vibrate, at least not for us.

I added aftermarket tow mirrors from Boost Auto to my GMC truck. I’m very pleased worn the result.

I bought after market tow mirrors for my F-150. Fit just like OEM. Try 1AAUTO.COM. That is where I got mine.

Not tow. Mirrors but we changed out a mirror on my son's old Pathfinder. Not too handy but the videos on YouTube were spot on and step by step. If i can do it pretty much anyone else can

If you have found a good used diesel truck and the only thing you don't like about it is the mirrors, then buy the truck and address the mirror issue.

We use the McKesh strap on mirrors with the convex spots on both sides. They don't vibrate, go on and off in about 2 minutes, and give a great field of vision. We could have instead gone with Tundra OEM or aftermarket tow mirrors, but if we did that I would have to jack around with folding them in all the time to park in my garage. Every Day.

By using the McKesh mirrors we are only managing the mirrors when towing. These are purchase on the Hensley hitch website.
