Reason #2303 Jeep Should not Tow

Plunged 10+ feet into a ravine (on purpose mind you - just I didn't bother to think to look before driving into...) here in Sultans Basin, WA. So this is reason 2303 why using your off-road vehicle to tow is not a good idea. What would of happened if it stayed stuck there lol NOt a dent or a scratch either on it BTW... thats why all the steel! To get out I winched myself up by lifting the front end of the Jeep up and then over until the front bumper was resting on the other side of the ravine...

Do you hang on PBB?
I pretty confident my trail truck will NEVER tow our Airstream. I haven't been able to fine a 20 inch drop draw bar.
It's bigger now then when this picture was taken. It now runs 35's.

Slightly unrelated, but a picture that I love to show people. I was in Sedona last year after interviewing for a job in Phoenix. I wanted to go see the Palatki Ruins but had no idea what the condition of the "road" was to get there. But since I was in a rental car (a Jaguar no less) I figured "what the hell?" and proceeded on driving. I did get a lot of funny looks from folks in Jeeps and other SUV's who passed me.

Yet another reason why you should never buy a used rental car!

PBB Is the Pirate Bullitin board. The center of the known wheeling universe (except mud). www.pirate4x4.com These are the people that make the magazines. Most of the folks that compete in the URROC, put up or shut up, CALROC, builders like Fat City that built JR's tube bronco that won TTC. The tech there is unbelivable if you dig a little. You can cancel all you mag suscriptions because you hear about every the day after it happens.

This is the place where the magazine writers snoop around to get ideas.

Fair warning...It's hardcore and they haze newbies to run off the cry baby's.
I go by Grim Reaper there. Let me know who you are if you log in.
