spice it up!

This set sits on top of the built-in oven, when we're not moving. From Kromex, who else...?

My mom had this set when I was growing up. She also had the matching canister set to go with them. She even had the one labeled "Bacon Grease". Times have changed.

Spent the day yesterday doing some antique shopping for the Overlander. As you can see from the colors, lots of turquoise, copper and silver. Here are a few pics of what we bought, a Kromex Cake Pan, two Paula Deen retro sauce pans, flamingo salt and pepper shakers, turquoise plad napkins, Lincoln Beauty Ware Canisters (incomplete set), and a Buddy Holly bobblehead.

60's stackables

While these are not vintage they are those retro colors from the 60's era, I found them at Goodwill $2.99. Stackable ceramic cups and saucers to put out on the picnic table! I will probably wrap up in a towel under the sink for travel.

Cuisenart makes one that is very Airstreamish looking.

I also have KROMEX (for the 1953 house, but is great in any aluminum trailer).

Have been taken with Frederic Buehner's Buenilum

So far, Maria hasn't let me get one, but I've always wanted one of the old-style toasters:
