Rear hatch not opening

On my 2017 International 23d the rear outside hatch over the bumper seams to be james shut. The key will not turn. Any suggestions?

Try pushing hard on the lock while trying to turn the key.

I have had this happen on a few units,
1. spray some dry lock lube into the key hole
2. insert key and "wiggle" while gently trying to turn, and press lightly on the handle to release tension on the lock pawls.

The lock rotates behind to "ramps" on the latch handle, if the door or handle has any pressure against it, the lock cylinder will not turn. I have had 2 of these that I had to drill out-break them to get in and then replace the whole assembly with new.
The units that I keep lubricated well do not have this issue.
