Problem With Husky Power Jack
I have a 5000# Husky that has only been in use 4 months. The problem using the remote or the manual toggle switch is this. It will go up, stop to check and then will not go up anymore. Toggle down and it will go down stop and now I can go up again. If I do the reverse same thing .
I talked with Husky support. There answer was it sounds like the switch relay is faulty. However they do not have any in stock and if my unit is under warranty they will send me a new Jack...however they have none in stock until October.
This is crazy. I called etrailer and they confirmed nothing available and they do not know what's up with Husky.
We are on the road and really do not want to crank by hand for the next month.
Any Ideas out there.

Mine gets cranky sometimes, just what you describe.
Try going down then immediately switch to up. (sounds like it should blow the breaker, but it doesn't)
Make sure the batteries are fully charged.
I also replaced the manual crank with a ratchet, long extension, and a deep 7/16" socket.
With the Husky clutch released, it's easy to crank up and clear the propane tanks. Just in case.

I'm not sure how well it would work, but I would try using a cordless drill on the manual drive. When I realized that the crank couldn't fully be used without removing the propane bottles, I bought an extension and socket to fit the manual crank fitting, but I have not tried it.

I had the same problem with my Husky 5K. For some reason etrailer doesn't carry the replacement switches. The only place I found them is on ebay.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/16397063183...id=17042966279
No problems since then, the "water proof" cover on these works much better than the originals, but I still keep the head covered on the road.
Hope you find a solution.

Husky Super Brute 5000.
Hi, yesterday, in Oregon, we got a pretty good rain. It's been dry here for months. I looked out of my window and saw that my trailer was nose high. My tongue jack raised my trailer all of the way by it's self. I would think this jack should be weather proof. Long story, short, It raised my trailer four times. So I disconnected my battery connection. I just sent an E-mail to Husky to see what they think.

I know lots of folks on the forum like this tongue jack.
But this kind of info makes me hesitate to buy one. AND, reviews on Amazon are mixed, at best.
My ideal jack might be a manual jack that can accept the same socket as the stabilizers and the ProPride jacks.

Amazed your jack did that all on its own. While I had the problems Bubba mentioned, nothing like yours. Any chance your jack remote was in your pocket and the button got pushed I do that all the time with the alarm on my F150.
I finally put a cover over the jack head to minimize water getting close to the switches. Works so far.

And this is the jack everyone seems to say is the upgrade from the standard Barker!

Hi, I don't use the remotes. I tested them when I first installed the jack. My remotes are inside of my trailer. I took both remotes out of my trailer and set them both in the lock mode and put them back. I was thinking that if my tongue jack was in the lock mode, that it wouldn't get activated by a neighbor's garage door or TV remote. My tongue jack fully extended one more time and that was when I disconnected it from my battery.

Hi, Gary. I received an E-mail from Husky today asking for my phone number and that was all I got.

Hi, today I got a phone call from Husky and talked to Lisa. I told her all about how this jack was going up by-it's-self. I also gave her all of my information and information regarding the purchase and numbers off of the jack.
Later I decided to re-connect the tongue jack to my batteries and have my game camera watch it.
This is what I got.
(1.) Connected jack to batteries at 10:50 AM.
(2.) At 12:10 PM the jack went up by it's self.
(3.) At 12:11 I put it back down.
(4.) At 12:11 it was all the way down again.
(5.) At 2:51 PM I had to put it down again.
(6.) At 3:08 PM it was back up again.
(7.) At 3:10 PM I put it back down again and disconnected my tongue jack from the batteries.

Problem With Husky Power Jack
Now that’s clever!
Any clues or speculation about self actuation?
Is there any way to disable remote control in the Jack itself?

I recently installed the same jack and was concerned about unplanned activation - especially when the stabilizer jacks are down. To prevent this I installed a waterproof power disconnect switch at the battery box. I also did this to prevent power drain as to my understanding the unit has a very small draw to keep the remote receiver active.

If you can make that happen at a camp site, setting up would be less complex.
Either that or since you have a game camera on it, shoot it!

Has this happened with the tt in more than one location or only where it currently resides? Reason I ask, could it be receiving a remote signal from some other local source? i.e., garage door opener. ceiling fan, etc.

Hi, the remotes have a lock button that is supposed lock out the remote feature until you activate it. I locked the remote feature with both remotes. I slid the remote safety covers up on both remotes, put them in the original bag, and put them back inside of my trailer.

Hi, I might have to shoot it. My wife is concerned that the tongue jack might activate while I'm driving on the highway or freeway.
