Ventilation during storage

If you ventilate your Airstream while it is in storage, what do you do? I have seen small dehumidifiers in catalogs that drain into the kitchen sink. Sounds like a great idea. My Overlander’s PO left the forward window unlatched, letting the rock guard handle the driving rain. Between that, and the seals on the roof vents & skylight being shot, there appeared to have been a fairly good circulation.

After the Overlander’s restoration is complete with new vent seals, I would have to open the vent a little higher than I am comfortable with to get the same airflow.

Do you ventilate, or leave it buttoned up tight?

Thanks,
Tom

My trailer is always plugged in and I leave a dehumidifier hooked up inside. Here in FL, the humidity is brutal and without it, moisture just hangs from everything.

I currently have the drain line going through the front bulkhead to the refer cabinet, and it drains out on the ground.

Even at the worst humidity here, the trailer is nice and dry inside. Hot, but dry.
