Help... Bargman on a 68 Tradewind not working

I think I have the L200 here, but not 100% sure. When I got the trailer, the PO said: "whatever you do... don't lock it" so it's been functioning as a door handle, but I've got to get this thing working properly. It's off right now and I'm slowly cleaning it, but I don't see the ball bearing that I've read about. I also noticed a mystery spring (third image) that looks like it should attach to something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see that anybody has reached out to you on your lock problem. I sell and repair the Bargman Locks. What you have is a Chesler lock. I have tried repairing some of these but haven't had the best success. If you need a replacement lock I will be glad to help you. Send me a email to r_whiten@hotmail.com
