I need a source for repair parts

While I greatly admire those that preserve rigs from years gone by, mine is barely 5 years old. Understandably, older systems have more difficult parts availability. Why is it so hard to find what I need? To go to the AS dealer or even local RV shop for a small part adds the middleman cost. I've had limited success going directly to Dometic, Atwood and Thetford. These things break and chasing down the small part of the week is a pain. There has to be a parts house that has it all. Help? Thanks.

The most recent searches have been the quarter turn plastic latch for the Atwood furnace and the Dometic freezer door hinge housings and springs. Tiny little things with big price tags and only a couple suppliers.

if you want to go the internet route, there are many competitors and their prices get adjusted fairly often so I suggest doing a price comparison at time of purchase.

I have had luck with:
BigDiscountRV.com
DyersOnline.com
RVDiscountSuppliers.com
PPLMotorhomes.com
OutOfDoorsMart.com
LEDS4RV.com

Good work. Let's keep the list going.
Use a dealer getting Airstream to drop ship the item to you.. Although sometime more expensive, I find it fast.

Out fo Doors Mart is my go to for parts and supplies. Service is quick and dependable. I have also had great success searching Amazon, especially for water pump, range, and electrical parts. My local AS dealer (Orange County AS) is all but worthless for service and parts. The parts department clerk is mostly illiterate when it comes to finding parts or answering questions, no help whatsoever.

I also am interested in this thread.

I have one tail light that looks easier to replace than hauling to the dealer and leaving it for 3 weeks.

OutofdoorsMart listed it for...I could be wrong quoting out of memory...64 dollars.

I pulled the light and googled the numbers and found it for 10.

Ridiculous.

Looking for a skylight shade now and may have to call the manufacturer ...
