Solar Panel Question

We have a Sunexplorer Charge Controller Display kit. Would like to know what the following mean:
  • Solar Charge Amps
  • Solar Amp Hours
Both are staying at zero. When should they show something? Seems our batteries (when not connected to shore power) run down over a few days. We have the battery disconnect on "use" even though we are not using anything (AS in our driveway). Believe I read someone on the forum state that he always leaves his on "use".

Can't figure out if the solar panel is working or not. We have a 2009 International CCD.

Thanks,
Marvin

We had this same problem with our unit when we first got it. There was a mis-wiring with the solar panel and just like you, we were not getting a charge. In sun you should have an indication on the charge amp setting that you are receiving a charge. Of course, you also need to determine if it's actually the solar wiring or the monitor itself. (Your posting info does not list your model, but I presume this is a factory solar install). It needs to be checked out...your are not hallucinating that you should see some activity.
