Rear Taillight housing removal

I am down to help a friend replace the 2 roadside corner panels on his Airstream. and need to remove the taillight housing. This is on a 2002 Classic, and I don't see how they are fastened to the panels. Anybody replaced these panels and how did you remove the light housings? Thank you for any help.

Following for confirmation, but I have been told that they must be removed from the inside, which mandates pulling cabinetry and inner skin.
I'd like to remove mine to seal and work some filiform corrosion on the bottom. Please post process with pics if you are willing.

The housings are held on by 4 screws, on on each corner, plus at least a full tube of adhesive caulking. What a nightmare, removing the gobs of caulking, which is 90% useless and a waste!! We have the top corner panel off, after removing the rear window and frame, and finding the panels were held in place with 1/8 Pop rivets before being buck riveted to the ribs and adjacent panels. The factory could save a lot of money by only installing required caulking/adhesive, rather than plastering it everywhere!! This is a real learning experience, and tomorrow we hope to have the lower corner panel off. Will post pictures after completion.

Where did you find the screws? And to be clear, we are talking about the 3 square lense taillights with the center containing a backup light?? All in a rectangular cast housing?
