Argosy exterior Flood Light Gasket

I needed to replace the exterior flood light of my 78 24' Argosy. When unscrewing the lens, the gasket evaporated in my hands LOL. into four or more pieces. The light is "signal Stat 3601. Has anyone found one? Are they still made? Can i get a new gasket? I bought some gasket paper from an auto store but I am not skilled in making one from scratch. I'll keep trying but a ready made one would be easier.

Thanks for any help

Try thin cork gasketting. It's about 1/16" thick and should be available at any auto parts place. Comes in sheets or rolls, and it's a lot more pliable than paper..........Phil

New lenses come with the foam gaskets. If you want a whole brand new light, they are still available, as well.
