The faucet in my 86
Sovereign has about had it. It is leaking and I think I am just going to replace it. After looking under the sink I am wondering if I can replace with a modern pullout faucet, which is what I would like to do. First of all, there appears to be a maze of tubing/pipes under the sink. There is the supply line going into each faucet handle, plus another line coming out from under each handle leading to the faucet. Finally, the tubing from the faucet to the spray.
Most faucets in the past few years I have replaced in my house have only had the two supply line connections, plus an optional line leading to a spray. I am not familiar with the additional line leading from each handle to the faucet itself. Is that unique to, and necessary for, an rv/camper? Can I remove all those existing lines and replace with a modern faucet, and just simply hook up the two supply lines?
For now I am just going to replace the o-rings and see if that helps the leak.
Thanks for any responses!
