Flame rod

I had similar issues with mine. It was intermittent. I removed the flame rod and cleaned all the corrosion off. It now works good. The flame detection current flows thru the rod and gas flame back to control board. If the rod is corroded it can increase the resistance so you don't get a good current flow for flame detection.

Spray carb and choke cleaner down the tube that the pilot light comes from. Using the spray extension that comes on the side of spray can..wait a bit and spray again...let set and dry before trying it again. Works for me

its likley a bad control board. in the last two years 100's of complaints and guarantee returns

call atwood and get a free board. they will also pay for a dealer to install it ( it take less than 1 minute). do so then they cant blame you if/when it fails again
