A newbie here, in the process of placing an order for a new Classic and we absolutely want a TWH.
Reading about Atwood, Truma, Precision and Girard.
Like anything else reviews are about personal experience but at this point leaning to the Truma.
ISSUE: Not fond of having a new trailer having to be retrofitted (to decrease the exterior opening as soon as it comes off-line from the build) to go to the Service Center to do the install as surely they won't do the install on the the assembly line). Also not sure if Airstream is a certified installer for Truma but guessing yes for the Basecamp uses a Truma Combi unit.
I would appreciate any thoughts/suggestions/experiences with TWH's, and any suggestions how to deal with an Airstream Service Center install versus any other install options?
The Truma is an excellent product, easy to use and has very consistent hot water production, even with "navy" style showers. No other product offers the same ease of use and complete functionality as the Truma comfort model does.
