Water Tank Level Monitor 1993 Excella

I hope I am posting this in the correct section. We recently purchased a 93’ 32-foot Excella and I noticed the potable water tank monitor isn’t working. I checked the tank and found four cut wires just in front of the fill hose inlet: blue, green, yellow, and white. What I can’t seem to find is where they would have been cut from, I don’t see any extra wires leading up towards the monitor panel (range hood).
The pump/fill inlet are in my cedar closet, the range hood is next to the closet. I’ve attempted to attach a picture but it’s upside down, it is very difficult to get my phone or camera in there to take a picture.
Any help would be appreciated.
Marc

There are usually like 4 or 5 wires in a bundle going to tank monitors. Should be an access panel on the tank pans and you should be able to inspect them from there. Does the panel have power? The panel can be tested by shorting different tank inputs. Most work off resistance. When the water conducts electricity between the ground electrode and the three probes a light comes on.

You have three tanks, are any of the gauges working?

Monitor Works

Thanks for the reply,
The black and grey tanks are working, as well as the both propane indicators and the 12v battery indicators. I can see a few wires that come out of the plastic (frp?) wheel well cover but none of them match up in terms of color to what is attached to take fresh water tank sensors in terms of wire colors. Do two wires connect to each tank sensor and are they connected in series? It’s the only thing I can think of.

Tank connections?

Okay so I found a monitor panel wiring schematic, perhaps this thread should be moved to electrical? I see three identical harnesses, one for each tank, identified as L7452. Green=Full, Yellow=2/3, Blue=1/3, exactly how does each wire connect to the harness? Anyone have a picture they can share? Please?

Four year follow up to my original post.
Resistor harness was mostly missing from my freshwater tank, had all three tanks out last spring when I replaced the axles.
Removed the gray tank harness and found that it’s two resistors (I forget the resistance, they are the same, at the moment). Made my own harness and epoxy sealed the resistors in wire nuts.
Now all three tanks have properly working level readings.
