Repair place in New England?

Both the streetside and patio awnings have roll up problems. I would like to take my 27' 1973 Overlander someplace to get them fixed. I can't climb up on a ladder and I take seriously the warning that one can get hurt doing things incorrectly. Anyone in New England have experience with repair places?
