Polishing...my new weight loss program

I am in the middle of polishing my '72 Ambassador and have lost 15 lbs in the process. Wow what a chore, but I am enjoying every minute of it. I love working on things that you can see progress as you go so you can step back and admire your work. Pictures to come shortly.

Awesome! I'll be polishing my Sovereign this year and definately could stand to lose a few pounds. So, at the rate you're going you should lose 30 lbs. Lets see...my Sovereign is two feet longer than your Ambassador, so I should lose an extra 5 lbs on top of that. I LIKE IT!

Yes, while polishing my Overlander I've found this to be true as well. So many of the tasks involved in my renovation have required delayed gratification, so it's really nice to be working on something that provides immediate, tangible results.

Holy cats! Very nice.

I've got to get to work on the Overlander....and get the weight loss and biceps benefits, too.

(PS--I lived on Benjamin St in Alex waay back...)

I have lost 20 in a month and that's drinking 3 or 4 beers during the process.
What if I go to Jenny Craig, stand in the parking lot and offer a quicker alternative.Imagine 20 people polishing my Ambie at the same time with a common goal!

When our 62 Bambi was polished (check it out, click on "Images" over on the left side, under "Profile") I lost some weight too......there was only one problem. I gained it all back again when I stopped polishing. Maybe, I'll have to buy another AS, polish it, and loose some more pounds.....HA HA

No club but will start hanging with the local folks in the Camping Unit once I get rolling.
