Pitted tail lights

I have had a 2008 safari fir about a year now, it was very well loved and taken care of by the previous owners.
My tail light assemblies, the ones with two oval lights are very corroded and does anyone have any ideas on how to bring them back to looking new.
I ordered new plastic bezels and new rubber but the assemblies need help.

I ended up painting the corroded door hinges on the Classic...maybe an option for the tail light bezels?

Pretty much the same here for the battery door frames...👍😂👍
